At Fruitporium, we are committed to providing you with the freshest fruits, vegetables, and dry fruits. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have a unique return and refund policy designed to ensure quality while protecting both you and us.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Quality Check at Delivery
Inspection at Delivery: We strongly recommend that you inspect all products at the time of delivery. Check for:
- Freshness and quality of fruits and vegetables
- Proper packaging and condition of products
- Correct items as per your order
- Expiry dates for dry fruits and packaged items
- Any signs of damage or spoilage
Immediate Notification: If you notice any issues with the products at the time of delivery, please contact us immediately. Our customer service team will assist you in resolving the matter.
No Returns Policy: Due to the perishable nature of our products, once delivered and accepted, we do not accept returns of fresh produce.
2. Refund Policy
No Refund Policy: Given the nature of fresh produce and our commitment to delivering the highest quality products, we maintain a strict no-refund policy after delivery. This policy applies to:
- Products that have been delivered
- Products that have been opened or consumed
- Change of mind or preference changes
- Products that were properly delivered as per order specifications
Quality Assurance: We ensure that all products undergo quality checks before dispatch. If you receive products that are of poor quality or damaged due to our fault, please refer to Section 3 below.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Products
What Qualifies as Damaged: Products are considered damaged if they are:
- Spoiled or unfit for consumption at the time of delivery
- Incorrect items delivered (different from what was ordered)
- Significantly damaged during transit
- Missing from the order without prior notification
Reporting Damaged Products: If you receive damaged or incorrect products:
- Contact us immediately within 2 hours of delivery
- Provide order number and details of the issue
- Take clear photographs or video evidence if possible
- Do not consume or dispose of the products until instructed
Resolution: We will investigate your claim and, if verified, provide one of the following resolutions:
- Replacement of damaged/incorrect items (subject to availability)
- Credit for future orders equivalent to the damaged item's value
- In exceptional cases, a processing fee may be refunded (at our discretion)
4. No Replacement Policy
Replacements Not Offered: Due to the unique and perishable nature of our products, we do not offer replacements for:
- Change of mind after delivery
- Products that have been opened or consumed
- Quality issues reported more than 2 hours after delivery
- Seasonal variations in product appearance
5. Order Cancellation
Cancellation Before Processing: You may cancel your order before it enters the processing stage. To cancel an order:
- Contact us as soon as possible after placing the order
- Provide your order number
- We will process the cancellation if the order hasn't been processed yet
Cancellation After Processing: Once an order has been processed for delivery, cancellation may not be possible. Contact our customer service team to discuss your situation.
Refund for Cancellations: If your order is successfully cancelled before processing, any payment made will be refunded to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.
6. Uncontrollable Circumstances
Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures or delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Government regulations or restrictions
- Strikes, riots, or civil unrest
- Transportation disruptions
- Supply chain disruptions
In such cases, we will communicate with you about the delay and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including address and contact details. Incorrect information may result in delivery failures or delays.
Acceptance of Delivery: You are responsible for accepting delivery during the scheduled time window. Multiple delivery attempts may incur additional charges.
Storage After Delivery: You are responsible for proper storage of products after delivery, as per the storage instructions provided.
8. Processing Fees and Charges
Payment Gateway Charges: We use third-party payment gateways for processing payments. Any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway are non-refundable.
Delivery Charges: Delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the delivery fails due to our error.
Refund Processing: If eligible for a refund, the amount will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
