Shipping & Delivery Policy

Welcome to Fruitporium! We are committed to delivering the freshest fruits, vegetables, and dry fruits right to your doorstep in Delhi. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our delivery process, timelines, and terms of service.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order to ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience.

1. Delivery Areas

Service Area: We currently offer delivery services exclusively within Delhi only. We are committed to expanding our services to cover more areas in the future.

Address Verification: We may verify delivery addresses to ensure accurate and timely delivery. If your area is not serviceable, we will notify you before processing your order.

Delivery Locations: We deliver to residential, commercial, and office addresses within Delhi. Ensure your delivery address includes:

  • Complete street address or landmark
  • Apartment/Flat/Office number (if applicable)
  • Area/locality name
  • Pin code
  • Contact phone number for coordination

2. Delivery Timings

Delivery Window: We offer delivery from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. Our delivery schedule ensures that products reach you at convenient times while maintaining freshness.

Order Cutoff Time: Orders placed before 3:00 PM will be processed for delivery on the next day. Orders placed after 3:00 PM will be processed on the day after next.

Same-Day Delivery: Currently, we do not offer same-day delivery service to maintain quality assurance and proper handling of products.

Delivery Days: We deliver all 7 days of the week, including weekends and public holidays, subject to our delivery schedule.

3. Delivery Charges

Free Shipping: Enjoy free delivery on orders above ₹500. This helps us provide cost-effective service while ensuring you get the best value for your money.

Delivery Charges for Orders Below ₹500: For orders below ₹500, delivery charges apply. The exact amount will be displayed during checkout before you confirm your order.

No Handling Charges: We do not charge any separate handling or packaging fees. Our goal is to provide transparent pricing.

Multiple Deliveries: If your order is split into multiple deliveries due to product availability, additional delivery charges may apply for subsequent deliveries.

4. Delivery Process

Order Confirmation: After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via SMS/Email with your order details and estimated delivery date.

Order Processing: Once your order is confirmed, we:

  • Select the freshest products available
  • Package items carefully to maintain quality
  • Assign your order to our delivery partner
  • Update you with tracking information (when available)

Out for Delivery: You will receive a notification when your order is out for delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order during the delivery window.

Delivery Attempts: We will make up to 2 attempts to deliver your order. If delivery fails on both attempts due to unavailability, the order will be cancelled, and refunds will be processed as per our refund policy.

5. Receiving Your Order

Verification at Delivery: Upon delivery, please:

  • Verify the number of packages and items
  • Check for any visible damage to packaging or products
  • Ensure all items match your order
  • Check expiry dates for packaged items
  • Inspect fresh produce for quality and freshness

Signature or Confirmation: You may be asked to provide confirmation of delivery. For contactless delivery, we may take a photo of the delivered items or require SMS confirmation.

Issues at Delivery: If you notice any issues with your order at the time of delivery, please contact us immediately. Our customer service team will assist you in resolving the matter.

6. Delivery Delays

Weather Conditions: In case of extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances, delivery may be delayed. We will communicate any delays and provide an updated delivery timeline.

Uncontrollable Circumstances: Delays due to strikes, traffic disruptions, pandemics, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control are not our responsibility. However, we will make every effort to deliver as soon as possible.

Communication: If there's a delay in your delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated delivery estimate.

Compensation: For delays caused by our operational issues, we may offer compensation or credit for future orders at our discretion.

7. Product Availability

Inventory Fluctuation: Due to the seasonal and perishable nature of our products, availability may fluctuate. If a product in your order is unavailable:

  • We will notify you before processing your order
  • You may choose a substitute product of equal or higher value
  • You may cancel the specific item (refund will be processed)
  • You may choose to delay the order until the product is available

Fresh Produce Quality: We source the freshest products available at the time of order. Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, slight variations in quality or appearance are possible.

8. Packaging and Handling

Quality Packaging: We use appropriate packaging materials to ensure that products reach you in the best condition. This includes:

  • Insulated packaging for temperature-sensitive items
  • Breathable packaging for fresh produce
  • Protective wrapping to prevent damage during transit
  • Clear labeling of all products

Ecological Considerations: We use eco-friendly packaging materials wherever possible to minimize environmental impact.
